  FAQ - INI Editing

Uniball INI Editing
Don't have a uniball.ini file? If this is your first time playing UniBall, you might not have a uniball.ini file. That's easy, just pick "Play Offline" and roam around for a while, get used to the controls. When you leave "Play Offline", you'll find a uniball.ini file has magically appeared in your folder. Then just continue to read the instructions below.

Anyways, open it up in Notepad (double-clicking on it should suffice), and look under "[Network]". If you haven't done this before, it should look like this...

[Network]
TCP_Port=0
UDP_Port=0

Change it so it looks like this...

[Network]
ServerIP=111.111.111.111
TCP_Port=0
UDP_Port=0

Simply Modify the 111.111.111.111 to whatever the server ip is.

BRChat INI Editing
This is much the same as editing the UniBall.ini file, but just in case, here's a general overview of the steps.

First, follow the same steps as above, but this time, click on the icon that says 'brchat' instead of 'uniball'. This should open up Notepad, and display the contents of the INI file. Look for the [Server] line.

[Network]
IP=111.111.111.111
Port=34340

Basically just change the IP and Port to the correct numbers. Like if the IP was 123.123.123.123 Change it so it looks like this...

[Network]
ServerIP=123.123.123.123
Port=34340

That's all...it should be enough to help you connect when the server IP changes. As always, if you have questions, post them on the messageboard.
