<3Dwarlord> Well my name is Chris, I am 21 years old, I live in Minnesota. I just started my own business and finished college last year.
<3Dwarlord> I have been playing Uniball along time, I started when I was a junior in high school
<3Dwarlord counts fingers>
<3Dwarlord> probably about 5
<Ironman> What got you started in playing uniball?
<3Dwarlord> The young, drive to find online games that had good communities of people, that were obviously massively multiplayer
<Ironman> What are some of the past squads you have been in?
<3Dwarlord> Well I am have been in DD forever, ones before that were.. HF, and EB
<Ironman> 3 squads in 5 years...your such a squad hopper :D
<3Dwarlord> never really joined a lot of squads; I always liked to stick it out till they died
<3Dwarlord> :p
<Ironman> How and when did you become an Admin?
<3Dwarlord> Well, I can't remember an exact time. But (along time ago) I was talking to Minieye and we kind of got to know each other well. I asked him he though I was admin material. A few days later, Jarvis opped me
<Ironman> Tell us the history of the well-know squad DD (Dancing Ducks)?
<3Dwarlord> Hehe, I guess when it started TopeZ, Zapphire, and Comrade kinda started it
<3Dwarlord> I joined at the end of what they started, after that everyone kinda left and TopeZ told me that I could run it if I wanted too. Ever since then, I did ;p
<3Dwarlord> Its probably one of the longest running squads without being disbanded or taken from the ladder
<Ironman> You being the leader of DD why do you feel DD has lasted this long and has been very successful over the years?
<3Dwarlord> The ability to bring good talent, and good friends together. Even though I am basically the only one left from the begining*. I have met great people along the way
<Ironman> What are some of the biggest accomplishments you or your squad has done?
<3Dwarlord> Well we always have been a contender, We won a ubc cup a few years ago? Probably the best run tournament ever in ub.
<3Dwarlord> We have always been a threat to ladder squads, more so when we are super active. Non the less a contender
<Ironman> What uniball match do you remember the most?
<3Dwarlord> Wow that is a tough one
<3Dwarlord> I guess, not a specific one, but back when Phear was probably the best talent squad around, With Minieye, Wawa, Rollo, and tons of others. That was always a challenge
<3Dwarlord> It was the repeated losing and winning that made me get better
<Ironman> Who are your biggest rivals (player or squad wise)?
<3Dwarlord> Well, it depends on the generation first it was Phear, then MPT
<3Dwarlord> but overall I would have to say, that Phear was my longest rival cause they were always active, and they always laddered us when they could.
<Ironman> any specific players?
<3Dwarlord> Eye, Rollo, Wawa
<Ironman> What do you think is the best and worst aspect of uniball today?
<3Dwarlord> lol, well from an administration standpoint.. I would have to say the community and the community for this reason
<3Dwarlord> its good because its got alot of really nice people, that love to play this game. On the other hand, there are a lot of people that think destroying it is more fun. That tends to turn me off a bit
<Ironman> Has your perception of uniball changed since you began playing?
<3Dwarlord> yeah it has in alot of ways. I used to play this game like everyone else. Now I am an admin, I help run ubc and have done many things along the way like run the ladder when riley was gone ect.
<3Dwarlord> its more work then play at times, but I do it because I just want to see this game continue.
<3Dwarlord> but i guess I can't complain, look at nickw and how many times you see him play; this game is all work for him
<Ironman> Does uniball still have the competitive edge for you?
<Ironman> do you still strive to be the best for instance :]
<3Dwarlord> I try too, sometimes it tough when inactivity tend to get the best of you at times. I still play this game a lot. Even if it's just a pickup game, there is always a sense of competition.
<Ironman> Who do you enjoy playing with the most and why?
<3Dwarlord> Well, you of course, cause I have known you for so long and you have been there for the squad and myself.
<3Dwarlord> Otherwise, anyone in DD I love playing with. Otherwise they wouldn't be in it!
<Ironman blushes>
<3Dwarlord> :)
<Ironman> How about people not in DD?
<3Dwarlord> ElRollo, Outkast, Minieye
<Ironman> What are some of bad experiences you have encountered while playing uniball?
<Ironman> What was one of your most disappointing moments?
<3Dwarlord> lol actually there is only one time I can remember after finishing a game with Phear, I joined BR and said in the channel "Minieye is mad" right before that he joined. He never really said much but I still feel bad about it to this day.
<Ironman> sad sad story :]
<3Dwarlord> Most disappointing moment would have to be, losing a close ladder match (anytime)
<3Dwarlord> we all know that doesn't happen often RIGHT!!*(^#
<Ironman> haha
<Ironman> What current squads do you admire and why?
<3Dwarlord> I couldn't say admire, but I do have respect for squads like JP, and Cheese. Squads that never had an overwhelming amount of talent, but they continue to try and play hard.
<Ironman> In your perspective what separates a player from being called a newbie or vet?
<3Dwarlord> I guess there is a few things, one is if you're a vet. You don't have to say anything about it. People just know.
<3Dwarlord> newbies I guess is a term that is given to players that are obviously "new".
<3Dwarlord> I think more people fall into the middle category whatever that may be, or at least I like to think of it that way
<Ironman> What are some of things you cant stand that others players do (in game or in br)?
<3Dwarlord> A) Spam B) Act Ignorant
<3Dwarlord> I hate when people talk smack in games, cause thats just disrespectful doesn't matter to who, just to anyone in general
<Ironman> Any tips on uniball you would like to share to the community?
<3Dwarlord> Practice (thats a new one), and just observe better players, there is always much to learn from them
<Ironman> ok we are near the end of the interview one more question left , before that is there anything else you would like to add
<3Dwarlord> actually there is, I think everyone should give people that work on uniball, brchat, ubc, ladder some credit and a thanks. They put a lot of free time into making this a better experience. Hardly ever do people give them credit
<Ironman> well said ok for last question
<Ironman> Ok lastly what is the best thing to do in the whole world besides playing uniball of course? :]
<3Dwarlord> heh, I would have to say just being happy. You have to strive sometimes to do it, but if you do. It makes everything alot better.
<Ironman> :] ok thank you for your time this concludes the interview
<3Dwarlord> alrighty, thanks
