<Babalybeck> babalybeck is as personal as it gets I suppose. Well I'm 20, currently live in Helsinki, just started my studies here.

<DarkPhenom> Can you tell us your past squads, what type of player do you consider yourself, lil' secrets you have to improve your gameplay, stuff like that.
<Babalybeck> Past squads eh..I can't remember them all, but I was in -NL- (Northern lights) for a long time, a squad more intended for having fun and getting to know people than actually playing. Then there was some squad with Foordy, NV, hmm, something, something, EO, and now I've finally found my place in DDR.
<DarkPhenom> Why DDR? You could easily join any squad in UB by now.
<DarkPhenom> and more important
<DarkPhenom> Why are you the only guy in DDR :o
<Babalybeck> Time will tell I suppose. It's meant to be a little secretive.
<Babalybeck> as for what type of a player I am.
<Babalybeck> I suppose I'm a defensive passer, I try to make opportunities for my teammates instead of scoring myself.
<Babalybeck> I suppose this is because of my greatnest weakness (no secret here), which is shooting.
<DarkPhenom> So you're not Pomm/Destiny play style?
<Babalybeck> I'm just very bad at it.

<Babalybeck> No, I don't play like they do, though sometimes I try to show-off.
<Babalybeck> But I try to bounce as little as possible, juking is so much safer.
<Babalybeck> or well, fumbling/juking
<DarkPhenom> So what's your favorite game in UB, duels, Hock, races?
<Babalybeck> definitely 3 vs 3 miniball.

<Babalybeck> Sure I like hockey too, but miniball is more intense.
<Babalybeck> I never liked dueling, I suppose I only wanted to see if I could get that #1 spot.

<Babalybeck> Racing used to be fun but I suppose I've gotten tired of it =/
<Babalybeck> yeah well, I still consider myself more as a team player than solo.

<Babalybeck> And of course all the dueling helped in that, ball handling is so important no matter how you play.

<Babalybeck> Playing wise, I'm no vet =) I've only been here since the end of 2001.

<Babalybeck> Hehe, well I only think of one of those as a loss...but that.s another story, anyways.

<Babalybeck> Some people will say speed boost. In reality, 1st off the servers were changed. My pinged dropped from about 180 to 140.
<Babalybeck> Secondly, I didn't duel until I though I was good enough.
<Babalybeck> And thirdly, I guess it's more of a philosophy, but you can't lose the ball.
<Babalybeck> I mean, in Uniball, when you're playing 1 vs. 1, and you have the ball, you have the power. You can do whatever you want and there's no way any opponent can outsmart you.
<Babalybeck> That's the ideal of course, in reality I do lose the ball just like everyone else =)
<Babalybeck> another thing
<Babalybeck> which is a great advice for those who want to duel
<Babalybeck> face-offs
<Babalybeck> When you play versus good players, face-offs mean everything, because the one who has the ball, shouldn.t lose it.
<Babalybeck> so I suppose all my racing made me a great blocker.
<Babalybeck> hence I won most face-offs
<Babalybeck> and therefore I won most of my duels
<DarkPhenom> you should teach me
<DarkPhenom> moving on

<Babalybeck> we've dueled 5 times, I won the 1st three
<Babalybeck> Then he won the 4th duel that like 200 people observed
<Babalybeck> and I won our last duel before he was banned.

<Babalybeck> Being last man but leaving that place so the opponent scores=bad
<Babalybeck> hogging=bad
<Babalybeck> Can't say which is the worst, I suppose a combination of all three.
