<Ironman> Most of the people know you but can you introduce yourself?
<Frog> Ok, my online alias is Frog, I am 16 years old and started Uniball somewhere around early March of 2001.
<Ironman> How did you find out about uniball and what made you continue playing this game for so long?
<Frog> Just like ARC (Attack Retrieve Capture), I was introduced to Uniball by my brother 'northofnowhere'. I've probably stuck around for so long just due to the friends that I had made as I progressed. I had always enjoyed playing games with them and just talking to them. Started off good friends with GoldDragon early early back in all of his <DragoN> squad creations, then as time moved on made some really good friends such as Zoinky (and the entire UB administration), FRIENDS, jamez, AT, etc. After awhile, it's more about the people and the community then the game.
<Frog> geez that was long
<Ironman> Have you had any past names and why did you choose the name frog?
<Frog> yeah, I had initially started off on the username 'southofsomewhere' the opposition of my brother. But as time went on, he informed he that the name was too much like his and demanded me to change it, from then on I shortened it down to 'south', but that quickly became old.
<Frog> After dumping the south name to move onto a BETTER name, I started looking into the videogame field for names. I tried various names, but alas, most were taken until I looked into STARFOX and thought of Slippy, which in turned got my 'Froggy'... and then 1-2 years later reduced to Frog.
<Ironman> What are some of the past squads you have been in?
<Frog> I can always remember my 1st or second day on Uniball, I joined and saw DD around so made my pure leetageness that is ~WW~ aka 'Waddling Wombats'.. but yeah, that didn't last too long. So I progressed onto , Cheese, =SF= (Star Fleet), [uu], JP, then onto q.6
<Ironman> What in your mind makes a good player in uniball?
<Frog> Common sense/not being stupid. yeah, if you have skill, that's great, but if you cannot use it and apply it to the field then it's quite useless overall.
<Ironman> What are your current involvements/responsibilities as an admin?
<Frog> Right now I am currently involved in a project that will totally revolutionize the way everyone sees Uniball (or will it.. dun dun dun), the new ladder project, map reviews, random UBC stuff, and of course the responsibilities that ever admin endures (support help.. making sure BR doesn't go off the edge.. etc) =P
<Ironman> What do you see for uniball in 10 years? Will it be around? New graphics? Few people playing Ect.
<Frog> I have always felt that Uniball will never die. Yeah, people are probably all 'wtf?', but the way I see it.. there will always be a server (if roocon ever goes KABOOM, I would be more than willing to start hosting), there will always be people (unless all 200+ people disappear and we NEVER get new users). so yeah, it'll be around.. as far as changes in GUI and such.. I'm sure UB will always be UB, with the exception of mods (such as Cox's UB3D) and such to add onto the flavor.. but always keeping the same engine.
<Frog> Unless Nick goes code-happy and revamps the entire game, which I doubt would ever happen. UB is good as is, simple/competitive.
<Ironman> Who do you enjoy playing with the most and why?
<Frog> Anyone on TS/Gamecomm/Vent, games are 100x more fun when you can just talk UB, non UB, jokes, etc. There's always things such as dumping the ball in the opposing zone and then triple teaming robert when he doesn't even have the ball, playing a perfectly good game of uniball and then you hear dios's porn playing in the background and we all figure it out at the same time, things that would never happen without voicecomm :)
<Ironman> lol silly dios you should hear him sing makes me cry every time such a lovely girly voice.
<Ironman> What other games do you play and what is the best game of all time? *besides uniball of course*
<Frog> Oh wow.. right now I'm mainly into CS 24/7 sided with a good heap of Uniball. Though I have played and still do occasionally titles such as SC, D2, CS, WoW, GW, Worms2..
<Frog> CS being 2nd to Uniball ;)
<Frog> Ok fine, SC is 3rd.

<Ironman> If someone asked you to describe your playing style/skill in one word what would you say?
<Ironman> i'll give you the hard ones hehe

<Ironman> What is your fondest memory dealing with uniball?
<Frog> Logging onto BR for the 1st time as an administrator. Everything was just completely different, and my UB career did a complete 180.
<Ironman> hmm everyone admin says that wierd ;]
<Ironman> If you played a 3v3 uniball game where your LIFE!! depended on it who would you want as your partners?
<Frog> ouch
<Frog> I really don't know who would play their all to save the life of me, but in anycase icup/tungstenman most likely.
<Ironman> i would give it all my all icup would probably would fold under the pressure and blame it on you :D
<Ironman> What are some thing other players do during game that makes you want them hit them in the head with a shovel?
<Frog> not making easy passes/not passing at all. with non-passers, the game soon renders pointless and boring.
<Ironman> Most of the community remember frog with a JP tag why did you decide to leave JP?
<Frog> lies, no one knows me ! Uhm, I was in JP for quite some time and when I first started off I had a really great time. As UB went on and on, JP got more and more.. 'non-existant?'. It was there, but nothing really happened as much, and I wanted to try to step out and play more constant squad-oriented games.
<Ironman> What is one thing you think uniball is lacking right now?
<Frog> A solid seasonal league, something that everyone could look forward to at a certain point in time every time.
<Ironman> like the UFL :D
<Frog> UFL died. but yeah, something like that
<Ironman> If NickW forced you to choose only one program that you can use between BRchat and uniball which would you choose to keep?
<Frog> Ha, I had always thought of the answer being BR (as I stated, I could live with the community longer.. than without it). But then I got to thinking.. it would be 100x easier to develop a new chat program/use another chat program and keep UB.

<Ironman> Ok for your last question if you could have one super power what would it be, and would you use it for good or evil!
<Frog> wth, this is totally non-uniball related, but alright.. super power you say.. something that would allow me to punch people through their computer, that would be entirely helpful for my line of work.
<Frog> or just something that kills all of the idiots, both work out to be the same level of happiness
