<icup> i'm icup ( obviously :) ), i'm 18 right now and i am attending NJIT... computer engineer major
<icup> i've been playing UB for nearly 3 years (in november)
<icup> i've had quite a few squads since i started playing

<icup> my very first squad was Bold... typical newbie squad but it was fun
since i was able to beat the leader

<icup> that got disbanded very quickly and then i found myself in X-men
<consp|OPBR> ah yes, i think that squad is still around today. if it isn't
the same, i guess it just got remade ;)
<icup> yes... xavier was the leader (who i beat in duels !)
<icup> cyclops was also in it, he still plays today... i could never really
beat him in duels, but he let me join
<icup> oh yes, might i add... i used to go under the name "Phantom"
<consp|OPBR> ah yes... that used to set PhanT off the hook ;x
<consp|OPBR> i guess he wanted that name, but you had it registered and
wouldn't give it to him... or at least that's how i was told..
<icup> well yeah, but he became more popular than i did and he was mostly
referred to as phant and people kept getting us mixed up
<icup> i still have it today, i'll never give it up !

<icup> after i quit xmen... or it disbanded (i forget) i made -[tm]-, but
goose asked me to change the name since he had a squad with that name long
ago

<icup> they had just created the squad, but -[CmR]- got it first because we
were so cool
<icup> they called us newbies and what not

<icup> after a while, Flea wanted me to join (A)... back then it was a
really good squad
<icup> i wanted to get out of that newbie stage
<icup> so i... disbanded -[CmR]- to see if i could get better and more
well-known

squad, and we would all like to know more about the goings-on and members
of the squad !
<icup> i was in -7- for a while and it was great because i learned a whole
lot from NEK and Siebharrin
<icup> -7- was great but we could never reach the top spots
<icup> we had a very unique style that worked great against most squads

<consp|OPBR> a very complicated play... not many people do it anymore ;x
<icup> yeah, basically, if someone was open, no matter where they were,
you'd pass
<icup> and they'd pass back and confused the defense
<icup> i still wanted to reach a higher skill level, so i joined BB !
<icup> or wait, was it FuDu ?
<icup> one of those, i think it was FuDu then BB

<icup> FuDu was cool, we rocked the ladder and i was a massive bouncer

<icup> that's when i realized that i had become just another bouncer..
specially when someone said "you play just like jiggs"

<icup> i forgot to mention, i started using the name icup as a joke, i had
also made "attic" :)
<icup> but for some reason, icup was good at hockey, so i kept it
<consp|OPBR> while we're on that track, who "taught" you how to play
uniball?
<icup> no one really
<consp|OPBR> you sorta adapted to the game/
<icup> i just watched people play and use that
<icup> yeah i guess

<icup> i was the miniball king <icup> ok so anyways, after FuDu, i joined BB
<consp|OPBR> out of curiousity, who was in BB at the time?
<icup> it was fun for a while but it got way too inactive for me
<consp|OPBR> they seemed to have caught that bug again last summer
<icup> the originals per say
<consp|OPBR> they have picked up since then, though
<consp|OPBR> and they have made a few key roster changes since then
<icup> aye
<icup> while in BB, rollo whispered me asking if i wanted to join CoD
<icup> at that time i knew CoD rocked, but i didn't want to leave BB until i
was sure it was too inactive for me
<icup> so i told gael and he said it was fine :D
<icup> i joined CoD with the originals, Elrollo24, BrianU, tigger, Gamer,
shutdown
<consp|OPBR> yeah most of those guys are still there
<icup> oh yeah
<icup> and wawa

<icup> we went up the ranks pretty quickly and dominated the ladder for a
while
<icup> i played most of the games along with brianu and rollo
<icup> but rollo and brian were the "main" people
<consp|OPBR> wow, what a team :O
<icup> so after the ladder got boring, i decided i wanted to play for fun
again and went back to -7-
<icup> oh yeah... i also had an argument with rollo because we were getting
pretty inactive
<icup> brian had showed me CS and i was addicted, i also picked up a few of
brian's behavorial problems ;x

<icup> so i joined -7- again and Siebharrin finally showed me the boost
trick
<consp|OPBR> lol. the famous boost trick... weren't you one of the only one
who knew it?
<icup> at that time, only -7- members, 3dwarlord and brianu knew it
<icup> so i rejoined CoD after not being totally satisfied with -7- because
they disbanded and blamed it on me !

<icup> so then i joined CoD again and have been there ever since
<icup> i did join Phear for a few days, but we knew it wouldn't work out,
this was after BB i believe
<consp|OPBR> and how is CoD now a days?
<consp|OPBR> pretty talented, and fun to play with i bet ;)

<icup> we don't need to bounce all around the map to get the job done
<icup> but of course we all have backups
<consp|OPBR> i've seen some of the play Brig and Rollo have done... wow o)O
<icup> we are mostly jukers and some bouncing
<consp|OPBR> a good attribute to have :)
<icup> but nothing like other squads where most of their members use
bouncing a whole lot

<icup> so yeah, we play simple and switch it up whenever we need to
<icup> our defense is solid, sometimes there is some miscommunication
because members haven't played in a while with each other

<icup> gaming as in computers total ?

<icup> i had that atari joystick with the button on the side and it had like
12 games

<icup> mainly because my cousin had every single one of them

community has changed in the past two or so years?
<icup> well, i think people used to be nicer back then
<icup> you wouldn't have as many idiots as we have now

<consp|OPBR> the game is getting bigger, which i wouldn't say is a good
thing :(
<icup> yeah, i don't mind the new players... just the ones that think they
can say/do whatever they want
