Every time I go to play Uniball, I can't help but to notice the number of people that complain about lag. For the most part, it can be rather annoying, and there is no exception. Now, I am not trying to single out those that complain excessivly (you know who you are), but just a heads up.
I seem to recall time and time again the statements of those that complain about lag. "Lag sucks! OMG CL! This server sucks! I hate this! etc. etc." Shut up, you know you've done it too :P. Anyhow, if you by chance miss a shot due to click lag, DEAL WITH IT! Don't stop and say "Shit! I'm getting so much fucking CL!" Well, suck it up, and work around it. Those that attempt to play uniball with 3^10 pings, go find something else to do! It only ruins the game for someone that has been patiently waiting to play and has a good ping. I'm not saying that modem users shouldn't play (look at Astrok or Puppy :\), because I have been corrected many times by users saying that they are on dial-up instead of cable. Congrats, you're a great player. However, if you plan on joining a game with a 14.4 downloading Photoshop at the same time, well, get out. The inability to work with your teammate could cost the game because you are not patient enough to wait and do one thing at a time. It's not my fault you do not have broadband, and I'm not saying it's bad, but it is just getting a little annoying when people somehow manage to play UniBall with their 14,000 pings (yes, i've seen it before) and expect to have a flawless game. WAIT!
Time is wasted saying "Lag sucks!" We all know that; there's no reason to explain it to us. If the server doesn't like you, sorry, deal with it. I don't want to have arguments with people about this topic, even those that are my friends, so if you don't agree, fine. You can hear it from someone else in game.
