Welll heres what i think about the whole Newbies - Vets thing that comes up in every single game that online and multiplayer. I have played some other games like Battlecity and Odyssey Classic. In both of the game the whole Vet hates Newbie thing was 20 times worse, in Battlecity until u made at least brigadier, a rank in the game, it was nearly impossible to get into a good city. In Odyssey which was an RPG it was hard to get help from teh so called vets that were much higher in level and when some would help they would show you something then strike u down. In Uniball there is a group of vets that deserve the name because they have been around a long time and really do have skills. Although i dun think it is cool to curse off someone just because they are new but ehatever thats not what my rant is on. NOW, what really gets to me is when some players who played for like 2 weeks make a game titled NO NEWBIES ALLOWED, when i saw that i really got pretty mad because this player hadnt even played for 2 weeks. I know newbies usually get the raw end of the deal in mpog's because i have been there and so has everyone else, I can understand if the older players want a game with all vets, but not when a weak player is denied a game because of lack of skills by players who aren't that good to begin with. I think that if a player sees another first time player he should help him out a little even if it is just to tell em to press F1. I also think that newbie squads can be good because a newer player can enjoy the team aspect of the game and a squad can help each other learn to play. Although I wasn't around ppl tell me that that is how Phear came about to be one of the best in the game today. Well those are my thoughts they are a bit jumbled by use em for all theey're worth.
