If UniBall says "This account is already in use" and you are not playing anywhere else, your old game session is stuck. Enter your username and password and press Boot Me! to drop it, then log in again.
A stuck session also clears by itself within about a minute, and ending a hung UniBall in Task Manager frees the account at once.
